Yeti Update.
When Yeti arrived with us he had been stray for sometime and had a horrendous barbed wire injury. When this injury wasn’t improving he was xrayed and a surgical plate was displaced, which looked to have been in situ for some time.
Whilst amputation was always a possibility, we agreed with the surgeons to remove the pin and see if that would help .
.
2 weeks later, things were getting worse for Yeti, and we had run out of options , other than amputation.
Yeti had very lengthy and complicated surgery to remove his leg, that was giving him so many problems .
The surgery went well, Yeti has fully recovered from his multiple traumas and this weekend he has finally left Bradford Cat Watch Rescue and Sanctuary and been adopted!
