Adoption Enquiry Update
As a rescue, we have evolved into a sanctuary providing intensive care for two categories of cats and kittens. First, nursing critically ill cats in our “Pawspital”, and second, providing ongoing rehabilitation and care for cats with disabilities and other specialist needs.
We are fortunate to be able to offer this bespoke type of care, thanks to volunteer experience, financial and moral support from our amazing online community, and of course incredible skills and expertise from our compassionate colleagues at Northcote Vets.
When we bring cats into our care, it is with a hope that they will be able to eventually find loving forever families when they are recovered, or that they can have a happy and fulfilling life at the rescue with some of our other permanent residents.
We are so grateful that there are so many lovely people looking to adopt cats and kittens who may not have had the best start in life, and our re-homing volunteers continue to have conversations with potential adopters to add to our waiting list.
As we take in cats and kittens in very unfortunate circumstances, there may be significant waiting times if you are looking to adopt, particularly for young kittens, so please be aware of this if you are looking to start your adoption journey with us.
