We have had a ridiculously high number of families contacting us wanting to adopt during this period National Lock down.
CAT RESCUES ARE NOT EXEMPT from the government instructions.
We will not contravene any guidance or instructions from the government.
No reputable or responsible rescue will be either collecting cats from properties to bring into rescue or rehoming their cats.
I am currently Shielding as at severe risk if I contract the virus and I will not put my volunteers or any one at risk of infection. ( however much you plead with us)
Considering todays government update regarding the spread of Coronavirus (Covid-19) and the lock down BCWR team would like to take the time out to update our friends and supporters and assure you that we are doing everything we can to protect ourselves and the public.
In light of the 3 week extention to the national UK Lockdown we will continue to suspended all adoptions, admissions and visitors at the rescue.
It is crucial that we all follow government advice to protect the most vulnerable members of our society and our NHS.
This is an incredibly difficult and sad position to be in.
Please remember….. THIS IS TEMPORARY and we are still an active rescue currently looking after 75 cats and kittens with varying needs.
We will have lots of adorable cats and kittens available to adopt when it is safe to do so.
