Microchipping Booking

Did you know we are offering £10 Cat Microchipping at Bradford Cat Watch Rescue & Sanctuary every Sunday between 1pm and 3pm.

We will contact you with full details and address.

We cannot microchip your cat if they are not brought in a safe and appropriate cat carrier.

Microchipping your pet is a simple yet effective way to give you peace of mind if your feline friend ever gets lost. The unique ID number associated with the microchip can be scanned by animal shelters, veterinarians, and other organisations, making it easier to reunite pets with their owners.

And if that wasn’t enough of a reason to get them microchipped, here’s some more:

😺 It’s a permanent form of identification that won’t fall off or fade over time

😺 It will become a legal requirement from Monday 10 June 2024.

😺 It can help prove ownership in case of a dispute

Microchipping your pet is a small investment for a big reward – the safe return of your beloved pet

It is now a legal requirement for all cats over the age of 20 weeks to be microchipped, and for the details to be kept up-to-date.

All cat owners have until 10th June 2024 to ensure your cat is chipped or you could face a fine of up to £500. This legislation is very much welcomed as we hope it will make it easier to reunite lost cats with their families
