Abbey Update
Little abbey has been with us since arriving pregnant several weeks ago.
Her kittens are now 6 weeks old and have had to be prematurely seperated from mum.
Abbey suddenly developed odd and unexplained symptoms and as a result had a specialist ultrasound scan of her abdomen as something didnt feel right.
The ultrasound scan revealed an abnormality and subsequently she had an emergency exploratory laparotomy which is is surgery to open up the abdomen at Northcote Veterinary Surgery
Unfortunately the revealed a nasty looking mass and biopsies have been sent to the laboratory.
We are awaiting the results and in the meantime Abbeys Amazing Foster family is doing a fabulous job of looking after mum and her 5 kittens George, John, Paul, Yoko and Ringo.
