Amira
New arrival at BCWR last night.
This is little Amira.
Amira is 6 months old and was rescued by a family due her being severely abused with another family.
Unfortunately the family could not take care of her as she is so poorly and also not allowed to keep animals.
Amira is currently in our intensive care unit, on intravenous fluids, and strong pain relief until she is stable enough for further investigations.
It is believed that she has a broken tail, spinal injury and severe bruising around her lumbar sacrum area.
Amira will be reviewed by our vets again in the morning.
