Christmas Adoption Paws (Pause)
Bradford Cat Watch Rescue and Sanctuary is pausing adoption enquiries until after the festive season.
Christmas time in many homes is a time of fun, festivities and families visiting.
This can be very frightening for a cat or kitten settling into a new environment.
Whilst we appreciate this isn’t the same in every home there are other contribubuting factors too.
In addition there are lots of extra potential hazards for pets at this time too.
Many Christmas plants, decorations and festive food are all often fatal for pets.
Finally and most importantly we want to ensure when we adopt our cats and kittens into new family homes we must ensure that they have full access the veterinary care incase of emergency.
Around the Christmas period many vets have restricted opening hours and emergency veterinary providers can be very expensive.
