Dijon’s Neutering
Young Dijon has finally been able to be neutered today.
This procedure has been slightly delayed to ensure that she is a safe weight and in the best condition to undergo an anesthetic.
Neutering is so important and not only prevents unwanted pregnancies it also minimises the risks of cancers and many diseases.
Dijon was such a brave girl today and despite her disabilities, wearing nappies and being paralysed from the waist down, neutering was essential.
Because of her medical history we have admitted her onto our Critical Care Ward overnight to ensure she remains warm, comfortable and do we can monitor her observations through the night.
