Emergency Arrival: Humphrey
New emergency arrival @ BCWR today.
This is Humphrey.
Humphrey arrived with us earlier today.
He had been seen a in a garden in BD5 and had not moved for over 12 hours.
On arrival he was quickly assessed, and it was quickly acertained that he had been in a road traffic collision, was very weak with likely fractures and hypothermic .
We rushed Humphrey up to the vets for an emergency assessment and they decided that he was too weak and fragile to have xrays right now however could confidently say there is fractures in the pelvic region.
Humphrey has now had pain relief, a little to eat and this weekend we will be offering him much TLC at the rescue to hopefully build him up in preparation, so he is well enough for anesthesia and x-rays on Monday.
