Emergency Arrival: Olaf
New emergency arrival at Bradford Cat Watch Rescue and Sanctuary
This is Olaf.
Olaf and his deceased sibling were found in a a bowl by a police officer in Bradford earlier today.
They took then to the vets in the hope they would help.
The vets reached out to us to see if we could help little Olaf.
Olaf is clearly very premature, has no fur, is not fully forned, no suckle reflex and has skin like tissue paper. When he arrived with us there were already several skin tears.
What we cannot see is any under development of his internal organs
Olafs prognosis is very poor however we will do our absolute best to help him.
Goodness knows where mum and any other siblings are… but we can only deal with what we have got in front of us.
Once warmed up, Olaf will be fed every every 20 mins for the next 24 hours…. If his little body survives that long.
