We are delighted to tell you that Ethel had her intravenous catheter removed on Friday evening.
Here she is in the photo demanding her breakfast.
The abhorrent cruelty that she has suffered at the hands of monsters is unbelievable.
Ethel is still in intensive care on our Critical Care Ward monitoring her vital signs including her breathing and temperature.
We are not in a position to consider Ethels future so please do not enquire about her adoption.
The longterm physical effects of her ordeal are not yet known.
Did you know that in the last 5 days Bradford Cat Watch Rescue and Bradford Cat Watch Rescue & Sanctuary has spent over £4000 in vet care and also in the last 5 days we have seen the most horrendous cruelty , abuse and neglect that we have ever seen in such a short space of time.
We can understand to a degree that many of the pandemic pets are now “surplus to requirements”, we also can understand that the cost of living crisis has had a huge impact on people’s priorities… but we CANNOT understand the wickedness and cruelty of mankind.
This weekend we will be telling you about all the animals we have received in the last 5 days (there has been many more than we have had time to tell you about wait for the rabbit story 🙈)
The cost of living has literally affected us all and we are all going to have to make little sacrifices to make life sustainable.
Could you make a sacrifice of just £1.00 this Bank Holiday Weekend to help us cope with our unprecedented emergency vet bills in the last 5 days?
£4k in 5 days has wiped out finances dry for the 1st time ever in almost 17 years.
Northcote Vets are so amazing with our charity and offer not only great rates of care but also relentless support everyday.
