Gary Update
Many of you will have seen the terribly sad story about Gary found on the streets fighting for survival, dehydrated with the most horrific wound on his leg imaginable.
Last week we established that the leg wasn’t viable and had planned surgery to amputate.
Unfortunately whilst prepping Gary for surgery his blood work was shocking.
He was in end stage renal failure most likely caused by pyelonephritis as a result of the infection.
We knew Gary could not withstand this surgery and subsequent recovery.
We had to make a decision where the was no real decision to make and whilst under sedation we helped end Gary’s suffering as he was put to rest.
