Izzy Update
Many of you will remember that Izzy was booked in for emergency surgery a few weeks ago at Northcote Veterinary Surgery.
Weighing just over 300 grams really did heighten the risks associated with anasthesia but surgery was very important in minimising serious infection complications.
Unfortunately Izzy didnt cope well with the anesthesia and regrettably the procedure was stopped and Izzy was woken up.
Yesterday Izzy returned to Northcote Veterinary Surgery to attempt the surgery again as she has tripled in weight.
Izzy did not listen to the post-op advice about resting once she was back with us! Thankyou to all the lovely team at Northcote for looking after Izzy.
Izzy was feeling a little brighter this morning and is always snuggling Bagpuss.
