Izzy Update
Many of you will know that Izzy was booked in for emergency surgery today at Northcote Veterinary Surgery.
Weighing just over 300g rams really did heighten the risks associated with anaesthesia but surgery was very important in minimising serious infection complications.
Unfortunately Izzy didn’t cope well with the anaesthesia and regrettably the procedure was stopped and Izzy was woken up.
Izzy is now back on our Critical Care Ward. When she has grown a little and is deemed safer for the surgery this will be rescheduled.
