This is lovely Lily .
She has been at Bradford Cat Watch Rescue and Sanctuary…. you may remember her admission story.
Lily and her kittens arrived at Bradford Cat Watch Rescue and Sanctuary on the 13th August .
I was having a snooze after a long night shift and was awoken by a kerfuffle outside.
When I looked out of my window there appeared to be a family with young children and an unfamiliar cat. I went out and tried to speak with them … and all the children said was “goodbye Lily”.
Lily was petrified clinging to our fence and then I looked down and saw 6 kittens in our food donation box.
I took them all in to safety and made them comfortable, then watched the whole incident on CCTV.
Much to my amazement the kittens, only 2-3 weeks old were roughly tipped from their washing basket into our statage box, mum was thrown on a bench, and she was frantic and they with no remorse left.
What a thing to teach your children.
We literally had no room and emergency foster care was found.
Yes they brought them to the right place, but went about it the wrong way.
How did we know Lily is her real name… because she is microchipped.
Because children were involved we did not post the CCTV however this has been passed on to the relevant authorities along with the details on the chip.
11 weeks later.. Lily has completed her mummy duties beautifully and is now looking for a home.
Lily is just such a lovely cat and would suit any loving home.
