Mango Update

Mango update.

You may remember Mango who arrived with us at Bradford Cat Watch Rescue and Sanctuary following being found very sick in a garden..

We soon realised that Mangos condition was far more serious than we initially thought.

For the last 6 days mango has appeared so brain damaged, unable to lift his head or sit up.

Yesterday Mango actually stood up for the first time and took 2 steps tentatively and then sat and ate his supper.

Whilst Mango remains critically ill these milestones are major achievements.

We are hoping Mango will continue to improve and that he will be well enough for xrays on Wednesday morning where we should gain a clearer clinical picture to ascertain yo what extent his pelvis, his and or spine are damaged .

In the meantime our critical care team will continue to nurse Mango in intensive care.

As he is unable to pee and poop unaided we will support him with this.
