New Arrival: Gary

⚠️Graphic images warning.⚠️

New arrival at Bradford Cat Watch Rescue and Sanctuary last night.

This is grubby Gary.

Gary arrived with us last night following being found in the BD8 area by a member of the public.

Gary was collapsed, unable to stand, very dehydrated, and his front paw and leg was 4 x the size it should have been.

Despite it being the end of evening surgery the amazing team at Northcote Veterinary Surgery rushed him to theatre and and discovered what can only be described as ” a river of pus” from his arm out to his paw.

It’s hard to believe how he survived on the streets with such dreadful injuries and sepsis too.

Garry is still very ill and will need much further surgery is he survives and is feeling a little brighter.

Gary is currently on strong antibiotics, pain relief and intravenous fluids.
