New Arrival: Mango

New arrival yesterday at Bradford Cat Watch Rescue and Sanctuary.

This is Mango.

Mango was taken in to a vets in Bradford yesterday following being found dumped in a client’s garden.

Initially it was thought that Mango was weak, had an ear and eye infection and possibly deaf as a result of the infection.

Unfortunately over the last 12 hours of observation we now feel that his issues are far more serious and likely neurological.

We are unsure about his vision as he is too poorly to assess at this time.

Mango is very unsteady on his hind limbs and this could be due to a birth defect or trauma.

On top of all this Mango is also having difficulty passing stool and urine too.

Our critical care team is currently nursing Mango in intensive care and whilst his prognosis is very guarded, we are doing all we can to help him .
