New Arrival: Memphis
New arrival @ Bradford Cat Watch Rescue and Sanctuary This is Memphis.
Memphis is around 4 months old and has already had a bad start in life.
Memphis was handed into a vets in Leeds as the finder noticed he couldn’t walk.
It woukd seem he has a fractured pelvis, most likely from a road traffic accident.
Did you know EVERY DAY injured cats are being put to sleep in vets practices because rescues are bursting at the seams.
We too are bursting and Memphis in not currently in the most suitable accommodation as he needs the expertise of our critical care team but the Sanctuary is so full and we are ” bed blocked”
Bradford Cat Watch Rescue and Sanctuary is now recruiting foster carers predominantly for mums and kittens and young adults as we are becoming saturated with need to free up space for critical care and continue to save lives.
Fostering for BCWR is rewarding, supportive and we always match families to suitable cats and kittens.
As a fosterer you would be fully supported by our TEAM, we provide all veterinary and care items such as food, litter, toys …. all we require from you is:
- love
- a safe space away from other animals ( spare room).
- ability to transport to BD2 ( vets and rescue base)
*attend a 4 weekly health check at Northcote Vets in BD2 or the Sanctuary… which ever is most appropriate.
*all own cats to be up to date with vaccines, flea and worm.
Fostering is flexible however we often need placements for 4 to 8 weeks.
If you wish to apply to be a foster carer please click the link below and we will be in touch.
I plan to get back to all applicants by phone in the next 72hours and start placements over the weekend.
Thankyou
