New Arrival: Tokyo

New arrival this evening @BCWR. This is little Tokyo.

(NOW ADOPTED) Tokyo was taken to a vets in Thirsk, North Yorkshire as a stray. Tokyo is only around 7-8 weeks old and has suffered serious injury to both eyes and the assessing vet in Thirsk believes on welfare grounds that the left eye needs urgent enucleation and if this wasnt possible euthanasia was the alternative.

Tokyo is now tucked up in his bed here at BCWR thanks to one of our volunteers who trudged the rush hour traffic to bring him in and our vets at Northcote will review him in the morning and, if necessary, will perform emergency surgery tomorrow.
