Piglet update.

11 ( ish) week old Piglet has been with us at Bradford Cat Watch Rescue and Sanctuary July following a very sketchy history and complicated presentation.

Over the last few days she has has a series of examinations s and went forva detailed xray.

The xray was totally shocking and shown a tail injury that one of our vets feels can only be a result of horiffic abuse.

The tail looks like it has been broken several times causing far deeper damage which is threatening Piglet life.

On the xray we can also see the pelvis is very narrow and odd which also suggests a previous Injury.

The injuries she has sustained has affected the nerves associated with bladder and bowel function and poor Piglet has to be helped to both have a wee and a poop too.

Piglet is totally reliant on the support of our critical care team at the Sanctuary around the clock and her prognosis isn’t great.
