Remembering Topple

On the 17th of April 2010 a beautiful boy was born.

Topple’s a special kitty in more ways than you can imagine.

When he was born it was a very traumatic birth process and his umbilical cord became entangled around his neck causing hypoxia, (starvation of oxygen to his brain).

For every one who knew him, Topple was a very happy chappy and loves every one he meets though he is very sensitive to those he is close to. Topple always lived at the rescue in his family home and worked hard making many public appearances as BCWR Mascot and he also brings joy to others as he works as a PAT (Pets as Therapy) Cat.

Topple became quite a celebrity cat at various venues and every one who met him loved him.

After a short illness Topple was diagnosed with cancer, 3 masses in this abdomen.. the primary in his pancreas.

On the 2nd November 2016 Topple left us… and we were heart broken. I personally have found this to be the greatest loss in my life.. and life for me has never be the same without him. Topple and I had such a special bond. When I was upset he provided comfort, when I was ill he too became ill. He felt my pain. No one knew him or loved him like I did, Topple was my little lad, my everything….. my life will never be the same.

Topple’s legacy lives on…..

Topples Trust’s primary objective is to respect and preserve the relationship between owners and their cats. We work in partnership with owners to overcome any difficulties that might arise. It was established to provide help when any aspect of care for an owned cat poses a problem – for example, providing cat food or seeking vet care for a cat during an owners period of adversity.

If anyone wishes to donate towards Topple’s Trust in memory of a loved and lost pet you can donate here.

At 8pm tonight please join us in lighting a candle and remembering those we have lost… our “Paws At Peace”.

Rest In Peace my little lad
17th April 2010 – 2nd November 2016.
