Sophie Update

It’s just 24 hours since Sophie had emergency surgery to have her leg amputated.
Sophie is 12 years old and has Osteo-sarcoma. We had to opt to amputate her leg.
It has been an eventful 24 hours however with a little help from a couple of of friends Sophie is very comfortable this evening.

We have had to seek emergency veterinary support and advice this afternoon from one of our associate vets and obtain additional and stronger pain relief.
Goodness knows how she feels only 24 hours after such major surgery.

This unexpected surgery really did hit our finances hard.
