Team Tumble Update!
It’s a while since we did an update on Mr Tumble and his Team Tumble Spring Challenge and we’re now 670,897 steps complete so well on our way to the finish but still plenty steps to go.
Team Tumble is aiming to walk ONE MILLION STEPS during Spring 2022.
Our challenge began on the 21st March 2022 00.01hrs and end on the 21st June 2022 23.59hrs.
The funds raised will be divided equally between 2 Charities.
🧡🧡🧡BCWR Critical Care Fund 2022- which specifically is to raise money to to help the very poorly cats and kittens in our care ,which, in turn can be very expensive. Specialist nutrition, veterinary care and surgery is often required to give our cats and kittens the best possible chance.
We are also hoping to purchase another intensive care unit, so that we are never in a position of having to decide who is most deserving to receive the best care.🧡🧡🧡
💛💛💛Marie Curie Hospice, Bradford- The hospice is a charity very close to our hearts at BCWR and every Spring we aim to raise funds to help support the specialist care at the hospice.💛💛💛
Unfortunately we have not been able to do quite as much walking as we would have hoped so far due to high demands in the rescue and volunteer illness… however we are still aiming to complete the 3 month Million Steps Challenge.
We will be doing a Jubilee Jaunt over the Jubilee Bank Holiday Weekend to help boost our step count and we hope you will join us… (watch this space for further details)
