Winter’s Tale Continues
It’s 10 days since Winter arrived with us a breath from death, and just look at her now.
Her cheeky kitten spirit is starting to shine through those bright eyes.
Her temperature and blood glucose levels are a lot more stable now, she is completely off intravenous fluid therapy, we are still supplementing and supporting her nutritionally with Royal Canin Recovery Liquid however she is starting to eat a littke herself too.
Winter is still experiencing mild and less frequent partial seizures which indicate a degree of brain damage from both prolonged hypothermia and head trauma. It would seem that Winter is not in pain or discomfort despite her horiffic injuries.
She remains on our Critical Care Ward in Intensive Care.
