Pen-y-ghent has been with us @ BCWR just 17 days now since we rescued her from under a car in Leeds.
It is now believed that she has been either punched or kicked brutally and viciously which left her with life threatening injuries.
In the 1st image you can see 2 photos of Pen-y-ghent, the photo on the right was taken today the photo on the left was taken 10 days ago.
The second image was taken the evening of her surgery.
💙It is exactly 13 days since Pen-y-ghent underwent major and complex surgery to rebuild and repair her fractured jaw.
Both top and bottom jaw were shattered and almost 5 hours of painstaking surgery was performed to save her life.
She is in the early stage of her recovery and so far is doing really well
❤Pen-y-ghent has weeks, if not months of recovery ahead of her including further surgical procedures.
💙All Pen-y-ghents nutrition is safely delivered via an oesophageol tube every 2 hours around the clock.
❤We administer a special diet liquid formula called Royal Canin Recovery Liquid and this is the best of its kind and offers her the best chance of survival.
Every few days we order more liquid for her however it isn’t a cheap solution.
She is currently going through 3 bottles a day that costs around £30 per day
