9 days ago this little lady came to us following being found in a park field.
We have managed to trace her owner however she doesn’t feel equipped to take any responsibility for her.
From her arriving with us at less than 6 weels old we highly suspected that she had serious injuries to one of her legs however due to the swelling and her condition it was impossible to xray her safely.
We have been nursing her around the clock and administering very strong pain relief.
Today she was stable enough for anesthesia and xrays.
Her x-rays revealed a fracture to both her tibia and fibula in her left hind leg.
We will continue nursing and caring for Buttercup around the clock.
Her prognosis is still very much guarded and we are not even considering her adoptive future.
