Carrots’ Christmas Wish
Carrots has been a very good boy all year, looking after his friends at the rescue, writing to friends at Marie Curie and children at home, and even having video calls to help cheer people up who were struggling in lockdown.
This year, he has one Christmas Wish, and that is to be able to help even more cats and kittens in 2021.
BCWR has seen 319 cats and kittens enter the shelter this year, and amazingly, despite restrictions, we have been able to find loving homes for 315 animals, as well as reuniting 12 cats with their rightful owners.
Among these cats, we have seen some cats in tragic circumstances who have required significant veterinary intervention, and intensive nursing and rehabilitation. This has led to a staggering current vet bill of £8,000 outstanding.
Carrots would be so grateful to anyone who feels able to make a donation towards our current vet bill so we can ensure we are able to continue helping those cats and kittens in most desperate need.
We still have our beautiful calendars available for just £10, featuring some of our gorgeous residents.
