Little Zach Update

Little Zach is finally back at Bradford Cat Watch Rescue and Sanctuary and settled for the evening.

Zach has had a very long and worrying day Leeds Veterinary Centre however is now happy to be recovering.

He came to us a couple of days ago with a horiffic fracture to his humerus which needed urgent surgery.

The surgery didnt go quite to plan due to the injury being far worse and likely far older than initially thought.

As you can see in the xrays a large fragment of bone had to be removed before the repair could be done. The bones are held together by a plate and screws that will remain in place.

Zach has just enjoyed his supper and is now resting.
