Our Volunteers: Serena
This morning one of our amazing volunteers Serena rocked up for her weekly volunteering day.
Every Friday morning Serena cleans, cleans and cleans a bit more to ensure our cats and kittens are kept in the cleanest and safest of enviroments with the strictest biosecurity and hand hygeine.
Yep we run a tight ship here at the rescue and Sanctuary and Serena in meticulous in all she does.
As well as cleaning Kitty Cottage, Serena also cleans the garden, sorts the laundry, tops and stocks up and also is amazing with a mop too!!
Whoever thought volunteering here was just about cuddling cute cats! Of course Serena always has time for cuddles, completes and records the weights and daily healthchecks for every guest in Kitty Cottage and also is also Key Worker to a couple of our SENSE SANCTUARY cats too.
As well as the regular rescue tasks Serena also helps with events, vet visits and has also been in the rescue kitchen too baking!
