Philomena Update

Philomena continues to do really well today and as part of her treatment plan every 72 hours Philo will have a bubbly bath.

Whilst in almost every case we discourage people from bathing their cats as it not only can be very stressful but also can damage their skin and coat, in Philomena’s case it is for purely therapeutic reasons to prevent her skin becoming sore due to her lack of mobility, to encourage mobility and to provide a sensory experience.

As you can see in both the photos and the video Philo totally enjoys her bubbly experience and we think all she is missing is a glass of prosecco, candles and low lighting in her personal jacuzzi.
