VE Day Celebrations
Here @ BCWR WE HOPE YOU HAVE ALL HAD A LOVELY VE DAY.
Today wasn’t the the original grande event that we usually would host however in a very safe and socially distanced way the neighbours local to the rescue certainly all had a fabulous afternoon of singing, food and friendship. We even had a visit from a local “Spiv”.
In the war there were ‘spivs’ who sold things on the ‘black market’ that were in short supply. Zoom forward to 2020 and this is the modern Coronavirus Spiv case – loo rolls, hand wash, pasta, disinfect wipes, flour and hand sanitizer.
