It is 11 weeks since Cuba arrived with us with 4 broken legs, head injury and a damaged tail.
10 weeks ago Cuba underwent surgery to try fix one of his most badly broken bones. Our vet Gemma spent hours attempting to align the bones enough to successfully pin and attach an external fixator.
We are delighted to hear that surgery was successful and he is healing and the fracture has remodelled.
Cuba was xrayed yesterday and his pins and external fixator were removed.
Cuba still has a long road to recovery through and rehabilitation.
