Emergency Arrival: Wonton
New emergency arrival at Bradford Cat Watch Rescue and Sanctuary.
This is Wonton.
Wonton was brought to us this afternoon found collapsed in a pile of leaves on the pavement.
On arrival it was evident that Wonton was severely dehydrated, anaemic , emaciated,riddled with fleas and hypothermic despite tge warm weather.
Over the next 48 hours we hope to stabilise his condition so that he can have further tests.
Wonton is chipped however would seem his owners have either been estranged for some time or he has been abandoned . He was last known to be seen by a vet 11 years ago.
Wonton is in a terrible statecand his prognosis is very much guarded. He is currently being looked after by out critical care team .
