This is Little Itch

Itch is a sweet old lady around 17 years old.
For the last couple of years little Itch has been a Purrfect companion for an elderly lady through our foster partnership matching older people to older cats.

Sadly, more recently both Itch and her companion have had deteriorating health and in order to help them both it was a mutual decision that Itch should come back to the rescue.
Itch is now recieving treatment for kidney failure and is currently being nursed at the rescue and is receiving intensive and supportive care including intravenous fluid therapy.

Despite her age, grumpy face and condition Itch is determined to get into the festive spirit and is modelling her Elf stocking with style.

We will keep in touch with her human companion and hope that she has a peaceful and safe Christmas.
