We can’t fix them all: Flo
Unfortunately in rescue we cannot fix them all..
You may have seen new arrival Flo that we posted yesterday who was filthy, full of fleas, with sore legs and a terribly swollen, infected and distorted tongue and despite desperately wanting to eat she simply couldn’t.
Today she went back to the vets for sedation and full examination with a view to consider a feeding tube if it was a traumatic injury.
Unfortunately under sedation they found the most horrific tumours/ masses which undoubtedly were malignant.
To wake Flo up would have resulted in a dreadfully painful death and needless suffering too. We had to make the heartbreaking decision to allow the vets to end her suffering peacefully whilst she was sleeping. For one night only Flo was warm, loved and comfortable.
